Hello all,
There is now an nvda-support email list created at lists.nvaccess.org.
This list is a place where users of the NVDA screen reader are able to
ask questions about how to use NVDA.
The project maintainers, and other NVDA users, should be more than happy
to answer your questions.
Note that this is not a general NVDA discussion list, please use the
nvda list on freelists.org for this.
Basic rules:
* Users can ask questions about how to use particular features of NVDA.
* Users can ask questions about how to perform tasks using NVDA.
* Please do not ask about if or when particular features will be
implemented in NVDA.
* Please keep questions about whether a specific application works
with NVDA to a minimum. At the very least, try it out yourself first
before asking.
* Try not replying to a question or answer with your own opinion if it
doesn't actually provide useful information that will help answer the
original question.
* Please do not post bug reports, feature requests, or NVDA log files
to the list.
Topics on NVDA development are for the nvda-dev list on this list serv.
For info on reporting issues with NVDA (including bug reports and
feature requests) see:
http://www.nvda-project.org/wiki/ReportingIssues
The project maintainers can always be found on nvda-support and
nvda-dev. However we may not always be around on the freelists nvda list.
The reason for creating nvda-support is to provide a well moderated
place for new users to ask support questions. Hopefully making it easier
for these users so they don't have to wade through many many non-support
emails, and its good for us as project maintainers as it should lessen
the load of users emailing us privately.
For information on how to subscribe please visit the following page:

Look forward to seeing some of you on nvda-support!
Mick
