[Nvda-dev] Dutch local for NVDA installer

Hi Peter,

Well, I would be glad to translate NVDA. It would certainly help to
understand the program, and make it usable for people who don't understand
English that easy.

The only problem is that it is a huge amount of text, acording to ms word it
were over 90 pages. (if you subtrackt the extra information, you would keep
at least 20 pages)
If there is a way to split this text in smaller peaces, to make things
easyer, it would be nice... I've downloaded all documentation about
translating, so it will not be that difficult to start nor receive a mass of
e-mail...

With kind regards
Roland

Subject: Re: [Nvda-dev] Dutch local for NVDA installer

Hello,
I think having NVDA installer translated into dutch is a good idea.
Over time we have seen several requests asking for dutch localization.
Now here is the main question.
As a dutch NVDA user would you like to have this translation for the
NVDA installer included in the snapshots or do you think you can also
try taking care of translating the NVDA's user interface?
In order to be able to manage the translation your-self you do need to
run NVDA from the source code and you do need to understand how the
getext catalog files work. You can read about this in the developer
articles at the NVDA wiki:
http://www.nvda-project.org/wiki/DevelopmentArticles
If this is too much I can try helping you to generate the files. You
should be prepared for an intensive email exchange until the translation
is ready.
In any case your efforts are welcome and I am happy to help you to get
the translation done.

Thanks for the contribution

Greetings

Peter
