I'd also say that you will get more feedback on a release version, because
as you say, many 'normal' users do not want to run snaps, and after all, its
normal users who need to be able to use it most. Often, programmers and
anoraks do not see the big picture, and can easily miss the staringly
obvious difficulties average users see. The main suggestion i have, is to
include in the docs, the ways to feed back to the developers.
